Job Summary

Gooseberry Dental located in Ipswich are looking for a friendly and professional receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a patient-focused environment where excellent customer care is at the heart of everything we do.This position is offered on a full-time basis hours are Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 5.30pm and Friday 8.15am to 4.30pm.

As our receptionist youll be the first point of contact for patients in person over the phone and online. Youll ensure every patient feels welcome and supported while keeping the practice running smoothly with efficient administration and appointment coordination.

Key responsibilities will include;

Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
Answering phone calls managing enquiries and booking appointments
Handling patient records and maintaining accurate information
Taking payments and managing invoices
Supporting the dental team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Ensuring the reception area is tidy organised and welcoming

About the Candidate

To be considered you will have the following attributes:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A professional caring and patient-focused attitude
Good organisational and multitasking abilities
Confident IT skills and experience with scheduling systems (training provided if needed)
Previous reception customer service or healthcare experience is an advantage but not essential
