Our Greater Sydney Regional Delivery team is seeking a suitably experienced professional to join their Compliance and Regulation Team as Senior Operations Leader. The position is pivotal in the protection of the natural capital of the State including native vegetation protected flora and fauna Aboriginal objects and places.
About You
As Senior Operations Leader you will lead the implementation of a robust and credible compliance audit and regulation program within the region that will ensure the delivery of best practice regulation and outcomes that are consistent with policy and statutory requirements.
You will be required undertake a range of compliancerelated activities including desktop assessments reviewing agreements engaging stakeholders issuing statutory notices conducting interviews and gathering evidence with a view to determining responses that are timely fair proportionate and consistent with statutory requirements. As a people leader of the team it is expected that you will consistently demonstrate the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive highperformance culture.
