About the role
The HIS ClericalMedical Records Team Leader oversees the daily operations of the clerical team ensuring timely and accurate scanning and management of medical records. The role provides leadership support process improvement and ensures compliance with privacy and documentation standars to support clinical coding admissions and overall service delivery.
About you
Provide leadership coaching & development to HIS Clerical Team
Coordinate the scanning of discharges to ensure end of month targets are met
Manage staff roster workload recruitment and training of new staff
Assist in the development implementation and monitoring of processes to improve patient information flow availability for admissions and coding and reduce double handling
Delegate tasks amongst the clerical team to ensure workflows are completed in a timely manner
Provide education to team members on new or amended processes
