About the role
The Senior Manager Facilities Management will lead the Facilities Management function at Red Cross which includes 300 properties across all states and territories within Australia. The role will lead an internal team responsible for facilities management building compliance and capital works. A key aspect of the role will be the management of an outsourced facilities management partner who coordinates the delivery of all soft and hard services across Red Cross. This will include managing KPI performance preventative maintenance programs and reactive maintenance delivery.
The role will also be responsible for the delivery of the minor capital works program across Australia. Given this role will liaise with all functions across Red Cross the ability to engage with a broad group of stakeholders and build productive relationships will be critical.
What you will do day to day
- Develop a facilities management strategy which reduces operating expenditure improves property operations and mitigates compliance and WHS risks
- Lead the facilities management team to ensure stakeholder expectations are met work programs delivered and a high performance culture is created
- Manage the outsourced facilities management provider to ensure KPIs are met subcontractors managed and compliance programs are implemented
- Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver the annual capital works program across Australia
- Support board and senior management reporting on service operations compliance and capital works
What you will bring
- Proven experience in all aspects of facilities management including soft and hard services
- Experience in delivering capital works programs across Australia
- Strong leadership coaching and management skills
- Experience in managing outsourced facilities management arrangements
- Strategic analysis and problem solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
