This position resides in the School of Social Sciences and under the guidance of the Field Education academic leader and Head of Social Work will implement the Social Work field education program with a particular emphasis on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students and field placement agencies.
This position involves stakeholder engagement and relationship management placement of Aboriginal and nonAboriginal students in government and nongovernment agencies and the development of quality operational outcomes in the ongoing management of the field education program in accordance with accreditation and legislative requirements.
The positions responsibilities will require cultural knowledge and potential ability to incorporate this knowledge to the development of quality operational outcomes in the ongoing management of the field education program. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of Aboriginal scholars within the School of Social Sciences and with the UOW Woolyungah Indigenous Centre.
