We have an opportunity for aLegal Operations Support Analyst to join our Client Solutions teambased in Perth Melbourne or Sydney.

This role is fulltime. If youare located in Perth you will work normal business hours. If youare located in Melbourne or Sydney your hours will be from 11:30amto 7:30pm AEST Monday through to Friday in order for you to beable to support our Perth partners and employees with the use ofSmarter Law systems including our case management platformSharedo.

The Client Solutions sectionsits within Corporate Services and has approximately thirteenemployees nationally. The team drives our Smarter Law program andthe teams work encompasses various initiatives and servicesaimed at improving client relationships and delivering innovativeand outstanding legal solutions. The team is comprised of legaloperations professionals and technologists.

This role will support keyClient Solutions activities whilst building knowledgeunderstanding and skills in the Legal Operations environment. Inaddition to helping provide Helpdesk Support you will be immersedin operational activities such as business analysis developmentlifecycle low code development ideation activities and gaining anunderstanding in how to turn ideas into reality.

You will be responsiblefor:

  • working across the Client Solutions team to assist with the coordination of team meetings and workshops;
  • assisting the Client Solutions Director and Managers on Smarter Law initiatives including prework analysis and documentation;
  • administering and supporting the internal and external use of the firms systems providing training and demos where necessary;
  • ensuring our knowledge bank is current and up to date;
  • supporting the delivery of Smarter Law focused presentations and workshops within the firm;
  • maintaining and monitoring prototypes and deliverable apps on lowcode platforms;
  • coordinating updates and publishing of the smarter law documentation projects and plans (centrally and with the groups);
  • being a point of contact for general queries relating to Smarter Law; and
  • assisting with the preparation for and facilitation of internal workshops and hackathons.

Aboutyou

You will ideally have thefollowing skills and experience:

  • a keen interest in innovation automation and legal operations with a passion for doing things differently;
  • an enthusiasm for learning new concepts and techniques to supplement your legal or technology skills;
  • an interest in and experience building communities around Legal Operations or Technology Helpdesk Support;
  • a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail;
  • a selfstarter able to run alongside a busy team picking up work to ensure tight deadlines are met;
  • the ability to work autonomously and timemanage according to set priorities;
  • resilience and perseverance in the face of an industry that resists change;
  • a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • exposure or experience with automated systems such as workflow decision trees doc automation are advantageous but not mandatory; and
  • experience with Jira Helpdesk or legal environment is desirable.
