3 years post graduate experience in clinical medical practice

About the Role
The position is for a 6month rotation at the Fitzroy Campus of St Vincents.
You will be responsible for the management of up to 12 patients with the Musculoskeletal/Spinal Rehabilitation team which has spinal amputee and a diverse range of musculoskeletal rehabilitation patients. There are close links with the St Georges campus Rehabilitation Unit Ambulatory Rehabilitation programs including the program and Aged Care programs operating at St Vincents.
Your duties will include
Attendance at weekly Amputee Clinic and weekly High Risk Foot Clinic (optional)
Assessment of patients referred to Rehabilitation as directed by the Rehabilitation Consultant.
Attendance at ward daily management meetings biweekly Consultant ward round weekly case conference and family meetings
Supervision of Interns.
Assessment of patients referred for rehabilitation.
Management of rehabilitation inpatients including Amputee Spinal and Musculoskeletal patients.
Participation in inservice training program for the rehabilitation team
Participation in undergraduate medical teaching
Involvement in research and quality programs being undertaken by the rehabilitation service
Participation in Saturday and Sunday morning Rehab and GEM cover (approx. 1 in 6).
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 HM30 ($129048.40 $177622.12 pro rata per annum) salary sacrifice and excluding super
Must Have
Medical Degree recognised in Australia
3 years post graduate experience in clinical medical practice
APHRA registration
Participation in the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine Training Program
National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
