About the Role
The position is for a 6month rotation based at at the St Georges campus in Kew
You will work with the team which manages up to 20 patients and 2 Pathways to Home patients is located at St Georges Hospital is located in Kew 8 kms from the main SVHM campus in Fitzroy. Other services located at St Georges include Inpatient Rehabilitation Geriatric Transitional Care and Aged Psychiatry Services as well extensive ambulatory services including and a Community Rehabilitation Centre. You will work with a Consultant Resident Nursing and Allied Health to provide medical oversight rehabilitation plan development and coordination of team meetings. You will work closely with the Rehabilitation Medical team at St Georges which comprises a Consultant Registrar and a HMO.
Responsibilities
Clinical oversight of the patients under supervision of the Rehabilitation Consultant
Assessment and management of patients by home visits and telehealth.
Supervision of the HMO
Participation in team daily management meetings and weekly case conference
Participation inservice training program for the rehabilitation team
Involvement in research and quality programs being undertaken by the rehabilitation service
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 HM30 ($129048.40 $177622.12 pro rata per annum) salary sacrifice and excluding super
Must Have
Medical Degree recognised in Australia
3 years post graduate experience in clinical medical practice
Participation in the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Training Program
National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
Drivers License
