Job Description

Description

The Temple Department plays a key role in extending the ordinances of salvation to all of Gods children around the world. This happens with the support of tens of thousands of temple workers all of whom need instruction. The goal of this instruction is to elevate the experience of each patron who enters the temple.
The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for creating effective learning experiences across job functions job statuses (employee volunteer missionary temple leaders etc.) and geographic regions using instructional design best practices. The Learning Designer also partners with subject matter experts to assess learner needs and to evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences and materials.

2 Years Fixed Term Position: Employee with a set time to complete the project. Employment ends when the project is completed.



Responsibilities
  • 70% Design and develop effective learning experiences and materials using tools such as Articulate Captivate Camtasia artificial intelligence tools etc.
  • 15% Evaluate the needs of key audiences and identify effective learning solutions to meet those needs.
  • 15% Evaluate effectiveness of new and existing learning experiences.


Qualifications

Bachelors degree with 6 years experience in a related field masters degree preferred;or equivalent education and experience.

Required skill set:

  • Experience effectively assess audience learning needs and identify targeted impactful learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated skill in designing and developing engaging learning experiences using diverse instructional strategies including case studies realworld scenarios simulations experiential learning and scalable technologybased modules.
  • Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs and using datadriven insights to enhance instructional design and learner outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas logically and concisely while being sensitive to diverse audiences and learning styles.
  • Highly selfmotivated and detailoriented with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and fostering positive learning experiences.
