As a Radiology Medical Imaging Tech I you will perform a variety of imaging procedures using advanced technology to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your focus on quality safety and patientcentered care will be vital in delivering exceptional radiology services within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver HighQuality Medical Imaging
- Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures including Xrays and other modalities as required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before during and after imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following all imaging exams.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow all departmental protocols for infection control radiation safety and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in coordinating patient flow and scheduling imaging procedures as needed.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding imaging procedures and answer questions with empathy and clarity.
Qualifications:
- ANY of the following licenses/certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- ARC BLS
