Spur is looking for upscale dependable and hardworking Supervisors for the sophisticated Rhythm on Monroe restaurant in downtown Huntsville. Connected to the Von Braun Center Rhythm on Monroe is a sophisticated restaurant serving patrons not only amazing food but a fun and hype experience.
As a Supervisor you lead the Restaurant and provide direction in the absence or assistance of any Manager on Duty and other duties as assigned. You must be able to speak clearly and professionally while having an accommodating tone. You must adhere and hold accountable the operation to all State and Local Health Department codes.
You will be the first and last image a guest has upon entering and exiting the restaurant as well as calling for reservations menu inquiries parking and/or scheduled events. You must maintain an infectious and friendly smile that is warm and welcoming. You must be able to speak clearly and professionally while having an accommodating tone. The ideal candidate will value the experience of patrons and work well under stress in a fast paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will also have upscale service experience.
The duties and requirements for this position are:
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Fluent in all stations in the kitchen and glamoured rooftop and can assist or step in to take over each of these stations.
- Professionally direct team members in all aspects of a shift including but not limited to assigned duties production proper rotation of products cleaning and leaving the dining and service area safely and orderly.
- Occasionally responsible for opening or closing as the culinary leader. This requires them to inspect all equipment proper culinary storage rotation inspecting work and most importantly ensure all equipment is secured and turned on or off correctly.
- Keep management informed of any equipment repairs or other items needing managements attention including interactions with staff guests or other personnel.
- Maintain a SAFE work environment at all times regarding activity equipment and chemicals.
- Must know all items on the entire menu and how each item is prepared.
- Ensure all products are available and ready for service and tell management as soon as possible if items are not prepared or out of stock.
- Manage their time efficiently to be able to coordinate with the Head of House and provide
- proper service to the guests quickly. Throughout the entire shift you must manage the timing and delivery of food and service in assigned areas including our glamoured rooftop.
- Must be quick on your feet and manage your time with maximum efficiency.
- Must be able to supervise multiple tasks and production at the same time while also minimizing mistakes. Correct all mistakes promptly and make notes on how to improve in the future.
- Remain calm and encourage team members to provide their best effort and quality.
- Focus on minimizing waste in all areas.
- Rhythm on Monroe expects employees to work their schedule as it is assigned to them weekly. Callouts must be approved by the Manager on Duty before scheduled shifts and must be accompanied by a doctors excuse.
- You must be willing to adhere to any additional duties given by the Manager on Duty.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have 1 year of supervisor experience. (Upscale pref.)
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Availability to day/nights shifts and weekends/holidays.
Pay:
- $18.00 p/hr and up based on experience
