Job Description
Are you highly effective in working objectively with a diverse groups of people and organizations The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) seeks a Coordinated Entry (CE) Specialist who will work to ensure that persons experiencing homelessness in our area receive consistent appropriate and equal access to available housing resources. Coordinated Entry (CE) is a coordinated multiagency system of intake assessment prioritization and referral for people experiencing housing crises. Working under the direction of the FGICA Program Director the CE Specialist focuses on frontend access to the CE system for consumers and works to ensure timely access to services for people experiencing housing crises. As well as system maintenance process improvement data entry and support to community partners. Additionally the position completes standardized intakes assessments and makes referrals to services for people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness. The CE Specialist serves as the liaison to the CE system for community partners and consumers.
