This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.
What you will do:
- Perform all work in a safe and controlled manner adhere to safety and environmental policies
- Work safely to prevent onthejob injuries by following Nutrien OSHA MSHA and MARSEC guidelines
- Use proper personal protection equipment such as safety glasses gloves ear plugs face shields flash suits and personal environmental monitors
- Work as part of a team to complete assignments and minimize downtime
- Work as a productive team member and support continuous improvement
- Crosstrain and work in all areas of the facility as needed
- Perform work from elevated structures ladders scissor lifts boom lifts and manbaskets
- Follow all safety rules and regulations as set forth by the company
- Work a 12hour rotating shift
- Work with rail cars to load or unload products
- Work will require you to be in/on catwalks confined space and working at heights.
What you will bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) testing is required for all hourly applicants of Nutrien. Applicants must complete this test and meet a minimum of4 in Graphic Literacy 5 on Applied Mathematics and5 on Workplace Documents in order to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien
- The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) must be uploaded with your resume during your application to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as process flow diagrams and equipment manuals
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to wear required companyprovided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)i.e. uniforms steeltoed boots safety glasses emergency breathing apparatus
- Work environmentwill be indoors and outdoors (in all weather conditions)
- Ability to be cleanshaven for safety reasons
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting rate $26.68 per hour (plus available overtime).
Nutrien offers a skills based pay compensation program. Hourly rates can progresses based on OnJobTraining formal learning and observation of new skills. Hourly rates can progresses from starting rate of $25.88 to $39.25 per hour over a specified time period.
