Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Remote Control Systems Designer to develop model and document control systems for industrial mechanical or electrical applications. This role involves designing control logic selecting hardware creating schematics and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure reliable and efficient system operational from a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and document control system architectures including PLCs HMIs and related components
Develop control logic wiring diagrams and panel layouts using CAD or ECAD tools
Specify and select sensors actuators controllers and communication protocols
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure system compatibility
Simulate and test control logic using virtual environments or remote testing setups
Maintain documentation version control and ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements:
2 years of experience in control systems design or automation engineering
Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN or SolidWorks Electrical
Experience with PLCs (AllenBradley Siemens etc.) and HMI/SCADA systems
Strong understanding of electrical schematics wiring standards and safety codes
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills for remote collaboration
