Job Description
Director 2 Clinical Engineering
We are seeking an experienced individual for a Director 2 Clinical Engineering opening in Zanesville OH. The Director 2 Clinical Engineering will oversee numerous types of medical equipment offer handson experience and provide leadership and processimprovement knowledge to staff. The Director 2 Clinical Engineering should be a highlevel leader that can manage a team of supervisors and technical professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for any accomplished HTM leader looking for growth & opportunity. Provide overall management and supervision of the assigned account assuming full responsibility for the accounts operational and fiscal performance and ensuring that the mission vision values and goals of the company. This position is 100% Onsite and NOT open for Remote.
Director 2 Clinical Engineering Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the clinical engineering program.
Lead a team of supervisors and technical professionals providing guidance mentorship and performance management.
Ensure the effective maintenance repair and calibration of a wide range of medical equipment.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency compliance and service quality.
Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to align biomedical services with patient care priorities.
Monitor compliance with regulatory standards safety protocols and hospital policies.
Manage departmental budgets vendor relationships and contract negotiations as needed.
Identify opportunities for team development and continuous improvement in healthcare technology management (HTM).
Qualifications :
Director 2 Clinical Engineering Key Duties include:
Oversight of all clinical staff for program management and regulatory compliance
Project Management/Capital Planning
Client/customer relations
Purchasing/Subcontracts
Financial
Hiring training people
Growing Organic sales
Director 2 Clinical Engineering Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience managing biomedical services within a large healthcare system.
Experience collaborating with executive leadership and Csuite stakeholders to align healthcare technology management (HTM) strategies with organizational goals.
Working knowledge of regulatory compliance standards including CIHQ DNV and Joint Commission (JCAHO).
5 years of experience managing biomedical services within a large healthcare system.
A solutionoriented mindset with sharp critical thinking skills and the ability to successfully navigate and resolve conflicts.
Ability to deliver exceptional service and build lasting partnerships with customers staff and vendors.
Strong business acumen with demonstrated agility and sound decisionmaking skills particularly in budget management.
Track record of leading highperforming teams including mentoring and developing both new and existing talent.
