Job Description

Team Summary
The Asia Pacific (AP) Consumer Solutions group manages the deployment and optimization of Visas core products consisting of Credit Debit and Prepaid payments solutions. Additionally the team manages new capabilities aim at modernizing and transforming credential lifecycle and proposition management such as Account Level Management Visa Flexible Credential Installments and Digital Benefits Platform which together will help Visa issuers create differentiated core card propositions and stay relevant to evolving user needs in Asia Pacific.

The team is responsible for leading the shift from traditional cardbased solutions onto digital form factors with the goal of establishing Visas payments solutions as the marketleading way for consumers to spend their money and manage their payments across the AsiaPacific region. Key tasks include shaping regional product strategies managing product P&L leading product development and coordinating these activities with both global and local Visa stakeholders.

What the Card Benefits at Visa does:
Visa is seeking an energetic organized and strategically focused individual to join the AP Card Benefits team. This role involves working with the Card Product & Segments team as well as Visas Consulting and Analytics team to negotiate secure contract for and track compelling card benefits for Visa users at terms that are favorable to Visa. The Manager will put a negotiation framework in place working with Visa Sourcing and other teams to

The roleholder will help identify negotiate source deliver and monitor the performance of cardlinked benefits. As part of this the Senior Manager Visa Benefits Management will also manage select partner relationships. These benefits will be leveraged by key stakeholder groups such as Card Product & Segments for Premium Products the Value Added Services team for Engagement Solutions the XBorder team for use in travel and online Xborder usage promotion campaigns. 
The AP Benefits team is a new one formed to be a key component and contributor to the development and execution of our Regional Affluent Strategy itself a part of a global initiative by Visa to drive a step change in how we address the needs of Affluent consumers in AsiaPacific. 

Why this is important to Visa
Consumer Solutions are the foundation for Visas business in AsiaPacific and encompass conventional cardbased credit debit and prepaid programs as well as newer fintechlinked solutions. Consumer Solutions span all lifestage and income segments across Visas AsiaPacific markets from entrylevel Prepaid and Debit products through to High Net Worth credit propositions and solutions and as such the team is a key platform for revenue generation and consumer engagement for Visa and our clients. The development of new innovative Digital Benefits Platform is an essential component of the next phase of credit growth in the region and this role will be instrumental in executing our strategy to address the opportunity.

 


Qualifications :

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial services or with loyalty programs across operations and execution is desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of strong experience in project management skills
  • Curious selfstarter fast learner and critical thinker able to imagine and absorb new market developments and evolving client needs and translate those into practical Visa solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with proven negotiation and communication skills used to secure deals and offers ideally from merchants and third parties
  • Strong team player internally and with clients working independently to coordinate cross functional activities obtaining critical support from multiple stakeholders
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to work independently yet seamlessly integrate and manage diverse groups and functions organized within different organizational reporting lines

What will also help:

  • Bachelors Degree in business engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with Visa products and services.
