Job Description

Position Purpose

You will join the Standards and Controls (S&C) Standards Implementation Office (SIO) team in Lisbon and more specifically the Regulatory and Prudential Project Implementation (PRPI) team in charge of implementing prudential projects within Finance & Strategy in close collaboration with the RISK teams.

Responsabilities :

  • You will mainly manage the COREP / Pillar 3 reporting projects help implement the regulatory changes following the publication of Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) regulatory reporting requirements covering the Group scope.
  • You will coordinate these regulatory projects allowing you to deploy a wide array of skillset from the organisation of the project to minutes taking and support material preparation while participating in the Steering Committees and followingup of action plans and roadmaps.
  • Thanks to your expertise you will propose appropriate solutions within the framework of your projects work on the operational insertion of these solutions in collaboration with the Groups RISK Finance IT and COO teams and operating entities.
  • You will work closely with the various work streams and clearly communicate the expected developments and their operational insertion in the updated processes.
  • The operational scope of the role will evolve in light of the regulatory changes and recommendations issued by the Banks regulatory bodies and auditors.

This position will allow you to become a central player within Finance & Strategy while the role will provide you with the opportunity to interact across many functions within the Group allowing you to:

  • Develop your network through collaboratively working with numerous stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Develop further your technical competencies regarding various regulations and their evolution.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies :

  • Piloting of operational production (Expert)
  • Computer skills (Expert)
  • Regulatory (Proficient)
  • Control of production operations (Expert)
  • Project Management (Proeficient)

Specific Qualifications

  • If you have at least 5 years of experience in regulatory matters ideally in project management.
  • Your professional experience has enabled you to develop an advanced level of PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables & data analysis) skills.
  • You have successfully deployed your analytical and synthesis skills and are appreciated for your collaborative team spirit.
  • You are wellknown for your interpersonal and communication skills as they are essential both in facilitating meetings/committees and in giving meaning to the subjects dealt with.
  • Finally you are able to develop and adapt a manual process/solution during the transition period to the target IT solution.
