Financial Controller (Valuation)/Junior
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller of Trading activities for UK UKbased entity based inPoznanPoland. The main purpose of this role is to be a finance professional working in a team providing accurate and insightful financial and management information and to maintain an effective control environment within Trading operations
Responsibilities:
- Performing monthend close process for a trading company
- Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reportsand journal entries
- Monitoring completion of close and postclose activities with emphasis on timeliness and quality
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with reporting controls and standards: SOX internal policies accounting standards
- Collaboration with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis of financial results
- Liaise with audit teams both internal and external to ensure successful and timely completion of audit reviews
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in process execution and revision
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in audit/controlling (knowledge about P&L BS reconciliation etc.)
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or businessrelated field preferred (being an ACCA/CIMA member/student will be an advantage)
- Fluent in English
- Strong analytical abilities initiative and problemsolving skills
- Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapt quickly to changing business needs
- Create a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution
