Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting fulltime career where development and highperformance are valued AbbVie is looking to connect with a District Sales Manager to join our Allergan Aesthetics commercial sales team in Mexico. This role is based in Mexico City (covering the Metropolitan Area and center zone of the country)

 

The District Sales Manager leads a high performing team that develops robust territory and account plans to execute brand strategies and tactics in the field. They deliver sales performance build strong customer relationships and support customer needs to maximize short and longterm sales targets all while placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVies business code of conduct policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Leads and coaches a sales team within the designated territory.
  • Deliver sales performance and relevant Brands Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to meet or exceed district sales plan within expense budgets.
  • Optimize resource utilization by leading developing and coaching multibrand sales team performance including setting sales targets and incentive schemes managing Sales Force Management Systems and KPIs in order to continuously improve district sales performance.
  • Ensure regular development of Sales Teams skills in terms of product and sales knowledge areas.
  • Professionally manage cross functional cooperation lead manage and coordinate effective multidisciplinary In Field Teams (including Account Management) and ensure strategic and tactical alignment between In Field and Brand Team activities including timely and qualitative market intelligence information flow between In Field Brand Teams and Sales Function in order to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
  • Ensure district priorities activities and engagement plans are aligned with brand strategy and national strategic priorities in order to optimize strategic momentum and drive brand success.
  • Continuously build understanding of customer needs and expectations territory landscape competitors market segments/dynamics accounts products and clinical expertise. Share this market intelligence information with the brand team and respective team members in order to achieve alignment to anticipate environmental change and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
  • Differentiate Allergan Aesthetics value proposition with customers and KOLs.
  • Proactively and continuously aspire to serve key stakeholder needs expectations and challenges in order to build trusted key stakeholder relationships and to achieve winwin agreements on a continuous basis.
  • Influence opinions of key stakeholders assigned by Brand Team to maximize brand performance.

Qualifications :

    XPERIENCE

    • Proven track record of success within pharma/consume/beauty sales and sales management in at least one therapeutic area.
    • Proven track record of successful leadership management and coaching crossfunctionally or functional individuals and teams.
    • Marketing and other commercial experiences within biotech/pharma industry preferred.

    SKILLS 

    • Results oriented.
    • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
    • Strategic thinking Detail oriented with ability to take a step back and think strategically to make critical recommendations and decisions.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Strategic planning (work plans activities timetables targeting) and operating with execution excellence.
    • Operates leads and facilitates effectively in a matrix organization/environment plus English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all nonEnglish speaking countries).

    EDUCATION 

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
