About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our IT Support team. The intern will assist IGT1 employees by providing client support installing software and remotely diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IGT1 employees seeking technical assistance with IT equipment and applications.
- Determine the best solution based on issue details and customer input.
- Provide support for Microsoft Intune and Office 365related tasks including configuration troubleshooting and user assistance.
- Propose innovative solutions and automate repetitive tasks where possible.
- Stay informed about current and past incidents to ensure consistent and highquality service delivery.
- Share knowledge and collaborate effectively within the team.
- Represent the IGT1 IT team projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications :
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Systems & Networking or Systems Engineering.
- Knowledge of and willingness to learn software applications Windows systems support and Mac OS (added advantage).
- Handson experience troubleshooting IT hardware such as laptops and monitors (added advantage).
- Solid understanding of basic IT concepts including Microsoft services networking and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Office 365 environments (configuration and user support).
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and constantly evolving work environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and effective business communication skills.
- Basic understanding of ITIL concepts such as Incident and Request Management (optional).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
