Job Description:
Podar International School Daund is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Computer / IT Teacher for the primary section (Grades 1 to 5). The candidate will be responsible for introducing students to basic computer concepts and digital literacy in a fun interactive and ageappropriate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach foundational computer skills including typing MS Office tools (Word PowerPoint Excel) and basic internet usage.
- Introduce students to coding and programming concepts using ageappropriate platforms (e.g. Scratch Blockly).
- Conduct classes using smart boards digital tools and interactive learning software.
- Prepare lesson plans assignments and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
- Encourage safe and responsible use of technology among students.
- Manage and maintain computer lab equipment and coordinate with IT staff as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology into classroom projects.
- Participate in school events training programs and staff development initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA or a related field.
- . (preferred but not mandatory for primary level).
- Minimum 13 years of teaching experience in a school environment.
- Proficiency in using educational software digital platforms and basic programming tools.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Passion for teaching and engaging young learners in technology.
