Job Title: Electrical Engineer Solar Projects
Job Overview: The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for solar power projects. This includes solar power plant substations transmission lines and associated electrical infrastructure. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely project execution while maintaining safety quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
Provide onsite technical support during installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the construction phase.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely material delivery.
Coordination and Documentation:
Liaise with internal teams contractors vendors and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to design standards and quality requirements.
Maintain and update all electrical documentation including test reports asbuilt drawings and manuals.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and local regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary mitigation measures.
Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
47 years of experience in electrical engineering for solar or renewable energy projects.
Knowledge of regulatory standards like CEA IS IEC and IEEE.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Preferred:
Experience in largescale solar projects.
