RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer (PE) to join our client s growing team in St. Louis this role you will play a key part in the design and execution of diverse civil engineering projects in the private sector. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients architects and engineers contributing your expertise to create innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Lead and oversee the design of civil engineering projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings specifications and reports.
- Perform complex calculations and analyses related to site development grading drainage and storm water management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients architects and other engineers to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare project proposals and budgets.
- Manage project timelines and resources.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri or within 6 months or less of taking the licensure exam.
- Proven experience in storm water hydraulics and hydrology design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Experience working with private client projects including development projects such as warehouses business parks schools commercial and retail spaces and residential developments.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with St. Louis area communities and MSD submittal procedures preferred.
- Experience with project management and budgeting preferred.
