Location Details:
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office fulltime; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days)and some work entirely remotely.
This is a hybrid position. Youll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work inoffice as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter as decided by leadership. The hiring manager can share more about what hybrid work might look like for this team.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to assist in building and strengthening our newgeneration Risk platform. GoDaddy is a global products seller to customers from all over the world. This makes GoDaddy a primary target for any kind of fraud and abuse activity. GoDaddys Risk Platform is responsible for stopping such activities and also forecasting and preventing any future activity across the entire GoDaddy Software. If building Antifraud software capabilities outofthebox thinking cloudbased technologies and Machine learning sounds exciting to you then you are made for the role!
What youll get to do...
- You will build a secure highly available faulttolerant and globally performant microservicesbased platform deployed on the AWS cloud that uses the newest technology stack
- Write efficient maintainable code following best practices and ensure code quality through extensive unit and integration testing
- You will work in a scrum team and join forces with other specialists product managers architects and operations teams from within and outside of the eCommerce group
Your experience should include...
- 5 years in a Software engineering role and building largescale distributed applications or solutions
- Strong experience in Java and or React programming language
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures software designs microservices and containers
- 3 years of Cloud computing experience using publicly available services AWS is an advantage
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience in writing units integration and smoke tests
- Experience building CI/CD and server/deployment automation solutions
You may also have...
- Familiarity with version control software Git is helpful
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools such as New Relic ElasticAPM or Datadog
- Passion for developing sophisticated and groundbreaking solutions for realworld business problems
- Strong desire to learn and to grow
