ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client is seeking a Network Administrator.
Our client is a technologydriven multinational company specializing in innovative industrial automation software. With a strong presence worldwide and a dynamic office in Athens they deliver highend solutions driving the digital future of industry.
Location: Athens North Sector
Working Model: Hybrid
You will be reporting to: Network / Infrastructure Team Leader
What you will do:
As a Network Administrator you will monitor manage and optimize network infrastructures across enterprise environment supporting troubleshooting network connectivity across local and industrial systems.
More specifically you will:
- Configure and maintain routers and switches for high network availability
- Diagnose and resolve network issues related to routing switching and segmentation
- Create and manage configuration files across multiple network devices
- Configure basic firewall rules and traffic controls on network edge devices
- Provide L1/L2 support for diverse enterprise and industrial connectivity scenarios
- Support industrial networks and specialized hardware (e.g. Cisco)
- Participate in infrastructure projects aligned with production requirements
Requirements
- A University Degree or Vocational diploma in IT (or equivalent handson experience)
- 2 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure support
- Familiarity with CLI tools (bash tcpdump nmap) subnetting strategies and firewall rules
- Understanding network segmentation
- Handson experience with Cisco devices is a strong plus
- Independent proactive problemsolving attitude
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) German language is a plus
- Any certification in networking is a plus
