Job Description

TPF Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a wellestablished and respected organisation based in Brighton who are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager Finance to join their dynamic finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detaildriven finance professional to step into a pivotal role supporting the Finance Manager and Head of Finance in ensuring the smooth daytoday operation of the Groups finance function. You ll play a key part in leading a team of 4 maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness across all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance with daytoday finance operations.

  • Oversee all accounting activities including responsibility for outsourced payroll.

  • Review and approve purchase invoices payment runs and supplier reconciliation.

  • Maintain oversight and responsibility for monthly reconciliation of control accounts for Balance Sheet items payroll and fees.

  • Assist in the delivery of monthly management information including KPIs to an agreed schedule.

  • Support the budgeting and reforecasting processes on a monthly and annual basis.



Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA ACCA CIMA).

  • Is a confident and advanced user of Excel and IT systems with a proven ability to quickly learn new software.

  • Possesses strong numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.

  • Embraces change and can drive system and process improvements.

  • Has excellent attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.

  • Can manage competing priorities meet tight deadlines and undertake adhoc projects.

  • Communicates effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels.
