You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOn Tuesdays through Thursdays the nanny will be responsible for collecting the child from their childminder in the early afternoon giving milk upon arrival at home and settling them down for a nap lasting 1 to 2 hours. While the child is napping the nanny will be expected to tidy the breakfast area take care of light kitchen cleanup and prepare a simple dinner meals such as rice and lentils or pasta with sauce. Once the child wakes up they should be encouraged to play independently for 30 to 60 minutes followed by an outing to the playground a short walk or some story time at home. Dinner is to be given around 4:45 to 5:00 PM. Throughout the afternoon the nanny will manage nappy changes offer snacks when needed and handle light household tasks such as emptying the washing machine and hanging laundry. The parent will return home by 5:30 PM.
On Fridays the nanny s day will begin when the child wakes up. Duties include changing the nappy serving breakfast and tidying up the breakfast area. The child should then be encouraged to play independently for around an hour before being given milk and put down for a morning nap. During this time the nanny will also prepare lunch. After lunch the child will have another nap lasting 1 to 2 hours during which the nanny will have a paid onehour break. The afternoon will include outdoor time or reading activities until the end of the shift.
This role is ideal for a nanny who enjoys a structured day can prepare simple meals and is happy to support with light housekeeping tasks related to the child s care. Prior experience with toddlers is essential as is reliability and a nurturing approach.
