Deputy Room Leader (23 Year Olds)
Fulltime All year roundper year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client a warm and welcoming early years setting is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Deputy Room Leader to support their vibrant 23 year olds room. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified early years professional whos ready to take the next step in their career bringing energy care and leadership to a wellestablished and childfocused team.

The nursery features beautiful agespecific rooms and a spacious outdoor garden and play area that promotes exploration creativity and confidence. The service prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where learning through play is at the heart of daily practice.

As Deputy Room Leader youll support the Room Leader in managing the daytoday running of the 23 year olds room. Youll lead by example helping to guide and support the team plan engaging activities and ensure a high standard of care and education is delivered at all times.

What Youll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with 23 year olds in a nursery setting
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • Confidence in supporting others and taking on additional responsibility
  • A caring professional and teamfocused attitude

  • Support in planning and delivering inspiring playbased learning experiences tailored to 23 year olds
  • Actively engage with children to support their development across all areas
  • Maintain a safe stimulating and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors
  • Build strong positive relationships with children families and colleagues
  • Help mentor and guide other practitioners in the room
  • Step up in the absence of the Room Leader to ensure continuity and quality of care
