Job Description
The local academy board of Childer Thornton Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated KS2 class teacher for two days a week to cover a maternity leave from September 2025 until July 2026. The working days will be Thursday and Friday and there may be the opportunity for additional overtime/planning time once our budget is finalised.
Our wellbehaved delightful children enjoy coming to school and have a keen desire to learn. They would like an enthusiastic committed and dedicated teacher to help them fulfil their potential and build on their existing achievements. The successful candidate will play a key role in joining a supportive team in a vibrant forwardlooking primary school where all individuals are valued.

As an English Hub and as a school with a strong link to the Maths Hub we feel we can offer an exciting environment for staff to develop as practitioners. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required and the successful applicant will be required to undergo social media checks.
