Job Description

Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Keighley BD22
Salary:per annum (plus approx. 4000 sleepin payments annually)
Working Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week on average
Hourly Rate: Dependent on salary and shifts
Number of Sleeps Required: 12 per week
Pay Per Sleep: 50 per sleepin
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs (Young People) aged 611 with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) Trauma Neglect CSE
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in an Ofsted registered childrens home
Employment Type: Permanent

The Home:

  • Number of Beds: 2

  • Location: Keighley

  • Type of YPs: EBD Trauma Neglect CSE

  • Ofsted Rating: New registration opening July

  • Ratio of staff to children: 2:1

Who we are looking for
We are seeking someone resilient empathetic and dedicated to improving the lives of young people. You will be a role model and mentor engaging in activities from crafts to cinema trips helping build healthy relationships and contributing to a nurturing traumainformed environment.

Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:
You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care this is not deemed equivalent.
You have only worked in HealthCare NHS CQC or as a Nursery Practitioner.
You require sponsorship Sponsorship is not available.
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
