Job Description
Join our dynamic team at TOMRA Food as a Field Service Engineer where youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cuttingedge food sorting systems. Were seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the challenge of providing topnotch customer service encompassing commissioning operation testing integration optimisation maintenance training and repair activities primarily in France.
Reporting directly to our French Team Leader youll be an integral part of our field service team. Based ideally in the North of France between Paris and Lille youll be responsible for promptly responding to equipment and customer issues both onsite and remotely. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering detailed field reports following each installation or technical intervention while also conducting training sessions for our customers maintenance and service staff.

With approximately 80% domestic travel across north of France.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently deliver field service work to meet cost and time objectives.
- Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to exceed customer expectations.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues conducting necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer support processes.
- Conduct installations and adjustments to TOMRA Food equipment as required.
- Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operations and maintenance of our systems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed field reports to guide administrative followup procedures.
Qualifications :
Candidate Profile
You are flexible willing to travel abroad and you meet the following requirements:
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering
Working knowledge of basic electrical power circuits and PLC circuits would be an advantage
Knowledge of computer hardware and configurations is considered a plus
Basic understanding of programming preferably C C Java or Python are considered to be a plus
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers internal and external associates and management.
Excellent communication skills in French and English other languages are an advantage
A valid drivers license with a good driving record
Willing to travel abroad for at least 80% of the time based on a flexible schedule. This means it could be also during weekends or in holiday seasons.
