Job Description
Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Fulltime Teaching/Coordinator position (1.0 FTE) at Rochfort Bridge Colony School.
S uccessful candidate responsibilities:
- Planning assessing and coordinating school programming for K9 students
- Supervision of Education Assistants
- Lead teacher with Education Assistant support
The successful candidate must:
- have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- have successful teaching experience
- have classroom practice that is focused on:
- a studentcentered approach to instruction and teacherstudent relationships
- effective organization/classroom management
- enhancing collaboration and building capacity in the areas of literacy and numeracy with school staff
- inclusive Education practices demonstrating a commitment to student achievement through a focus on curriculuminstructionassessment and the Teaching Quality Standard
- the domains of the NGPS Quality Learning Environment (QLE)
- strong and effective communication with parents and the community
- have school practice that is focused on:
- a commitment to student achievement
- outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- developing effective relationships with relevant stakeholders
Start Date:
- Duties will commence August 26 2025.
