Job Description

The Employee Experience Design Global HR team at Manulife is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our colleagues. We focus on understanding employee needs simplifying complexities and enabling personalized curated experiences that matter most.

About the Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance our learning and talent management capabilities. You will work with advanced technology solutions and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enablement Lead:Oversee learning development and talent systems ensuring alignment with the Talent and Development Center of Excellence.

  • Technical Support:Provide consultative support and business analysis to design and implement strategic solutions.

  • Collaboration:Work with crossfunctional teams to collect business requirements develop test and deploy solutions that enhance learning and talent management.

  • Risk Management:Facilitate privacy impact assessments risk reviews and participate in vendor release activities.

  • Stakeholder Communication:Influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive project success.

  • GenAI Technologies:Understand and leverage GenAI technologies including model development API integration and deployment.

  • Data Analysis:Analyze and interpret data to inform L&D technology strategies and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.

  • Future Skills:Anticipate future skill requirements and develop technology strategies for upskilling and reskilling.

  • Continuous Improvement:Lead initiatives that leverage GenAI to create innovative learning solutions.

  • Agile Methodologies:Utilize agile methodologies and work within selfmanaged technology teams to deliver highquality solutions.

  • Strategic Planning:Participate in HR Technology Book of Work planning efforts and influence the technology roadmap.

  • Subject Matter Expert:Serve as a technology expert across Talent Management Performance Enablement Development and Culture domains.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience with Learning and Talent Management technologies in global largescale initiatives.

  • Proven experience in system development lifecycle process reengineering and technology implementations.

  • Strong understanding of Learning and Talent Management processes and technologies (e.g. Workday EdCast Cornerstone).

  • Excellent communication consultative and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinking and resultsdriven mindset.

  • Experience with agile or selfmanaged technology teams.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.

  • Certifications in Human Centered Design CHRP/CHRL or PMP are an asset.

  • Experience in insurance financial or highly regulated environments is preferred.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86250.00 CAD $155250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant jobrelated factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
