Role description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Director to lead our geotechnical engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering project management and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical skills and the ability to drive innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the geotechnical engineering team providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Oversee the planning design and execution of geotechnical projects ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement innovative geotechnical solutions for a variety of projects including infrastructure commercial and residential developments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Manage project budgets schedules and resources effectively.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay current with industry trends technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters or Ph.D. preferred).
- Professional Engineer (.) designation or equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
