Business Analyst (Finance)
Location: Kensington
Max Term Contract for 12 months with the possibility of permanency
PartTime Tuesdays to Thursdays
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a handson agile and proactive Business Analyst to drive transformation throughout the organisation through process improvements and the development and ongoing support of digital change. Partnering with stakeholders is integral to this role to discover requirements validate and develop real time accurate and transparent reports and measurement tools to support business expansion and service delivery.
This is a 12month contract parttime opportunity with the possibility of permanency.
DUTIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partner with the assigned Business Leads and key cost centre stakeholders understanding their departments activity drivers and defined key performance indicators to
assess process improvements and meaningful data support.
Collaborate with stakeholders undertaking business process mapping for both current and future services fostering positive and trusted working relationships.
In conjunction with finance team maximise the use of Dynamics 365 Business Central once implemented to develop accurate timely and transparent dashboards
supporting operations decisions and reporting requirements.
Customer Relationship Management System/Client Management System transition support: work with engaged consultants as the organisation looks to replace its existing
legacy database and transition to a contemporary solution that validates our service delivery across WA. Contribute to solution documentation and implementation.
Coordinate and deliver training on developed insight reporting ensuring optimisation of data and appropriate interpretation.
Assist Business Leads with business case preparation though the provision of advice and analytical insights.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will be highly organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:
Bachelor degree in finance analytics or similar
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a demonstrated record of strong and effective partnerships with stakeholders.
Successful delivery and coordination of solution transformation projects including collaboration with consultants.
Proven record of the development of quality data insight dashboards driving enhancements in processes and reporting
A collaborative and confident approach to internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Ability to work independently and be selfdriven to deliver requirements.
Proven analytical influencing and problem solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and implement solutions.
Advanced computer skills including Power BI Microsoft Office product suite and project management such as Jira.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
A positive and friendly attitude and a demonstrated effective team member.
National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
Current WA Working with Childrens Check
