About the Role
As a Mid Level Manual QA Engineer at Bilue you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality reliability and performance of our mobile applications. Collaborating closely with developers designers and project managers youll help deliver seamless experiences for our clients by identifying and resolving issues before they reach the end user. Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop document and execute comprehensive test strategies cases and scripts for mobile applications.
- Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing across iOS and Android platforms covering functional UI/UX regression and exploratory testing.
- Bug Reporting: Identify document and track defects using issuetracking tools (e.g. Jira) providing clear and actionable details and evidence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers designers and stakeholders to understand application requirements user stories and edge cases.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that mobile applications meet functional and performance requirements identifying any gaps or inconsistencies before they reach the end user.
- Test Environment Setup: Set up and manage testing environments for different mobile devices and operating systems.
- CrossDevice Testing: Conduct and track tests across multiple devices screen sizes and OS versions to ensure compatibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to improve the development and testing processes helping to establish best practices of shifting left.

About You
Youre an experienced Manual QA Engineer with a strong background in agile environments excelling in dynamic collaborative teams. You combine a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues ensuring highquality results. With expertise in mobile application testing youre committed to delivering exceptional user experiences that align with organisational goals.
Experience:
- 4 years of manual QA testing experience focusing on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- A solid understanding of mobile app development lifecycles and release processes.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Handson experience with mobile testing tools such as Appium and TestFlight for exploratory and compatibility testing.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like Android Studio Xcode or Logcat.
- A basic understanding of APIs and tools like Postman for testing mobile app integrations.
- Experience in test automation frameworks and tools is a plus (e.g. Appium Selenium).
- Knowledge of performance testing and tools like Firebase Performance Monitoring or Charles Proxy would also be a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey issues clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
