Job Description
At Quid were building the markets first AI agents for accounting ERPs that automate accounts payable and receivable workflows across leading accounting platforms like DATEV Lexoffice and NetSuite. Our agents handle everything from invoice intake to coding and booking journal entries freeing teams from those ridiculously manual processes. Join us early as we define the next generation of accounting workflows!
Tasks
Youll join as an early engineer and have huge ownership over our entire platform reporting directly to our CTO alongside a team that consists of strong entrepreneurial members who are on a mission. Youll be hands-on building everything from core features to integrations and directly shaping the direction of the product. This is a true product-owner role where youll take projects from start to finish making critical decisions writing the code and optimizing it to deliver it to customers.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Deep proficiency in Typescript and the framework for building modern web applications with a strong focus on user interface and experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles development best practices and experience building and consuming APIs
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade backend systems using FastAPI (or similar modern Python frameworks)
- Solid understanding of both relational (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB) database technologies and their appropriate use cases
Brownie points:
- Hands-on experience with Supabase as a backend-as-a-service platform
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP including deployment scaling and monitoring of applications
- Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles and best practices
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Figma Sketch)
