I m the direct recruiter for a Strategy/Relationship Manager with a leading specialized operational services provider to military/governments across 4 continents
Remote or flexible hybrid in Sydney

As Strategy and Relationship Manager with Austability ( ) you ll work existing relationships & build new relationships with Australian government/military key decision makers/other government/military entities who have local presence such as United States IndoPacific Command delivering critical incident services and with a company who has a strong growing reputation in this niche space.
HIGHLIGHTS
Develop new/business relationships
Generate/negotiate new income to an agreed annual target
Present Company to potential clients through direct communication in facetoface meetings/telephone calls/emails
Research potential business development activities/clients/associated opportunities
Research marketing events in association with marketing reps
Prepare client proposals/contracts/documentation
Assist with bids/tender response processes
Interact with other strategy/relationships directorate staff including account management when handing over campaigns
Keep abreast of/collect competitor intelligence keeping company & self informed
Review orders and/or client feedback for ideas to expand services
Develop a structured sales plan outlining areas of focus in accordance with set targets for a set period
REQUIREMENTS
3 years in business development to include:
Proven background in government or defense sectors
Strong interpersonal communication negotiation skills
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical capabilities
High proficiency in relevant business software
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (security clearance required)
