We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead-Acid Battery Design Engineer with strong expertise in Creo to lead the design and development of lead-acid battery products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrochemical systems, mechanical design, and battery manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and model lead-acid battery components and assemblies using Creo (plates, grids, separators, containers, terminals, etc.
Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings for production and prototyping.
Collaborate with electrical, chemical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure product performance and manufacturability.
Optimize battery design for thermal performance, structural integrity, and weight.
Participate in prototype development and testing; iterate design based on test feedback.
Create and manage the bill of materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL, ISO, etc..
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in battery design and production.
Support failure analysis and root cause investigation for field or testing issues.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in lead-acid battery design or similar electrochemical storage technologies.
Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and design documentation.
Strong understanding of lead-acid battery chemistry, components, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in designing for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
Knowledge of material properties relevant to battery design (lead, plastic polymers, acid-resistant materials).
Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with battery management systems (BMS) or energy storage applications.
Knowledge of industry standards (SAE, ISO, IEEE) related to battery design and testing.
Hands-on experience with prototype development and lab testing.
Good communication and project management skills.

Work Environment:
Office and lab environment; occasional travel to suppliers or manufacturing facilities.
Collaborative work with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and QA.
