DETAILS
Location: OnSite in Coppell/Irving TX
Position Type: Hourly 40 hrs/wk
Compensation: up to $44K $22/hr
NOTE: Our client is a firearms distributer. All candidates should be comfortable around firearms.
POSITION DETAILS
GTN Staffing is seeking a Firearms Retail Sales Associate / Storefront Sales for an onsite role in Coppell TX. Working in a storefront location the Firearms Sales Associate / Storefront Sales will be the first pointofcontact for customers visiting the storefront. The Firearms Sales Associate / Storefront Sales will work closely with customers as they inquire about potential purchases as well as process firearm ammunition and accessory purchases. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a gun counter and have intermediatelevel knowledge about firearms including types of firearms brands and compatibility of accessories.
Ideally the Firearms Sales Associate / Storefront Sales should be able to offer recommendations based on customer needs personal preferences and the intended use of purchase. The Firearms Sales Associate / Storefront Sales will also process purchases through the ATF application process and should be detail oriented.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous retail sales and customer service experience
- Firearms enthusiast or at least an avid 2nd Amendment supporter
- Basic knowledge of Federal and State Firearm Laws.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
PREFERRED
- Previous gun counter experience at a retail outlet
