Job Description
About the Role:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant to join our growing team. You will be critical in designing implementing and supporting SAP GTS solutions within our S/4HANA environment. Your expertise in customs management compliance and risk assessment will be essential to ensure our global trade operations are efficient compliant and optimized.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP GTS implementations including requirements gathering design configuration testing training and golive support.
- Configure and customize SAP GTS modules specifically focusing on customs management compliance (including sanctions screening and export licensing) and risk management.
- Design and implement export/import workflows ensuring seamless integration with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules.
- Configure and maintain preference processing functionalities within SAP GTS.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and translate them into effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GTS functionality.
- Stay uptodate with the latest SAP GTS updates best practices and regulatory changes.
- Provide training and support to endusers on SAP GTS functionalities.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Systems Business Administration Supply Chain Management).
- Minimum of Number years of experience in SAP GTS implementation and configuration.
- Proven experience in S/4HANA environment for customs management compliance and risk assessment.
- Deep understanding of export/import processes regulations and documentation requirements.
- Expertise in configuring preference processing within SAP GTS.
- Strong integration experience with SAP MM and SD modules.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate 1 effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. 1.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Specific Industry is a plus.
- SAP GTS certification is a plus.
