Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join the US payroll team reporting to the Payroll Manager. The Payroll Coordinator will be expected to process full cycle payroll and generate payroll reports while communicating with the team.

*Inoffice working is required three days out of the work week out of the Atlanta office. 

  • Processing payroll: Calculating verifying and processing payroll checks timesheets and pay memos or hourly employees
  • Managing payroll records: Maintaining employee payroll files and keeping payroll data uptodate and ensure financial confidentiality
  • Ensure that payroll complies with company policies government regulations and tax obligations
  • Process other financial compensations (e.g. annual bonuses and severance pay)
  • Coordinate with HR regarding changes in Payroll (e.g. terminations new hires)
  • Process leaver emails
  • Addressing inquiries: Being the first point of contact for employees with payroll questions
  • Work with other departments and offices such as the tax authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Work with other departments on annual audits
  • Any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications :

A minimum of two years of experience preparing & processing payroll

  • An understanding of payroll laws procedures and compliance
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information and make precise calculations
  • Good organization skills ability to multitask and be a team player


Additional Information :

The salary range for this fulltime role is $55K$70K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
