As an Information Technology (IT) Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance operability and inventory control of the Bureau of Training and Educations electronic training and communications equipment. Your duties will include troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware and software inspecting equipment properly installing software and performing maintenance work or contacting vendors for repairs. You will also troubleshoot and maintain cadet laptops ensure damaged laptops are repaired or replaced and ensure returned laptops are inspected for functionality. You can expect to complete a periodic inventory of computers and equipment and maintain logs of repairs. Additionally you will serve the liaison between the Bureau of Training and Education centralized technical staff and vendors for all matters pertaining to IT and telecommunications.
