Job Description

We opened our flagship location in Manhattans West Village in 2020 and have quickly expanded across the East Coast. Small Door now operates in New York City Boston Washington DC and Maryland with continued expansion plans in 2025.
What Youll Do
- Own and maintain our companywide financial model updating it monthly with actuals and iterating it as our business evolves
- Own and manage our monthly Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) reporting process and collaborate with department leads and executives to analyze and explain key drivers
- Lead the preparation and review of our Weekly and Monthly KPI reports surfacing trends insights and budget v Actual variances
- Run the annual budget process partnering with department managers and leadership to build a comprehensive companywide financial plan
- Conduct ad hoc financial and business analysis to support strategic decisions growth initiatives or investor needs
- Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders at all levels to align on plans share insights and ensure financial accountability
- Partner closely with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial data
- Help build and improve our internal FP&A processes tools and systems as we scale
Who you are
- 4 years of experience in FP&A strategic finance or investment banking
- Strong modeling and analytical skills comfortable building and working in complex Excel/Google Sheets models
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fastpaced evolving environment
- Strong communicator who can distill complex financial insights into actionable guidance for stakeholders
- Experience working with tools like NetSuite (or similar ERP) and Looker (or another BI tool)
- Comfortable working independently and proactively youre not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Prior startup or highgrowth experience is a plus
