Job Description
The Job Mission
This role supports the development and delivery of the Periodic Testing Programme at Hinkley Point C.
Youll collaborate with a multidisciplinary preoperations team.
Youll help translate technical documentation into operational strategies.
Your responsibilities include:
- Analyse technical documentation such as drawings specifications and test instructions.
- Assist in the creation of Periodic Testing Operational Instructions (PTOIs).
- Support planning and scheduling activities for testing programmes.
- Liaise with HPC departments EDF stakeholders and international partners.
- Assist in developing surveillance programme strategy and requirements.
- Help define and document operational processes and procedures.
- Ensure delivery aligns with industry operating experience and best practice.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance across documentation.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (or higher).
- Experience with mechanical electrical or I&C plant systems.
- Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings.
- Strong written skills for document and procedure creation.
- Capable of planning and executing technical work scopes.
- Experience working in a project or commissioning environment.
- Able to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Proven ability to follow and develop operational procedures.
Desired Skills
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Prior exposure to nuclear or highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with surveillance or periodic testing programmes.
- Understanding of asset management or work management systems.
- Experience working with international engineering suppliers.
