Job Description

Regeneration and Place Coordination Officer

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Regeneration and Place Coordination Officer to support our Directorate Management Team (DMT) in Wirral Council. You will be responsible for coordinating a range of business support functions to ensure the smooth running of the directorate and compliance with all corporate requirements.

About the candidate:

We would like to hear from you if you are organised confident and can prioritise multiple workstreams for range of internal stakeholders. You will have a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.

You will be required to:

  • Provide standard and customised reports as required from DMT to enable effective monitoring and decision making. This includes coordination of the Council Plan Business Continuity Plan Directorate Business Plan and Directorate Risk Register.
  • Actively pursue matters arising from meetings and chase progress to ensure speedy accurate and effective follow up actions.
  • Support DMT in providing documentation and updates on relevant training and guidance as appropriate
  • To facilitate project meetings stakeholder and risk workshops and conduct reviews required to deliver bespoke Projects.
  • Support the programme governance structures to ensure programmes are appropriately governed agenda papers are collated and distributed and actions and decisions are logged.
  • Be an approachable and positive member of the team able to work across multiple priorities and with a range of internal stakeholders.
