Description

Chubb is currently seeking an Underwriter for the Cyber team in Dallas TX. Within this role the Underwriter will be expected to develop and maintain a broad network of brokerage relationships underwrite and service existing renewals and new business and expand distribution and new business. Crossmarketing with otherChubb products and lines of business will be required as well. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Soliciting new and renewal submissions from brokers
  • Determining terms conditions and complex rating plans
  • Representing the company at client meetings
  • Documenting underwriting files
  • Servicing accounts throughout the policy cycle and
  • Underwriting a book of Cyber related products in the Southwest Regionthat include Cyber and Privacy Liability and Technology Errors & Omissions


Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess an indepth knowledge of Cyber and Privacy Liability products and concepts.

  • A minimum of 3 years underwriting experience within Cyber or Financial Lines is preferred.
  • Experience developing and maintaining a broad network of brokerage relationships negotiation skills business acumen and strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong marketing and sales presence to drive new business.
  • Demonstrates desk management skills and attention to detail.
