- Troubleshoot L2/L3 level issues
- Patching of RHEL/Ubuntu servers
- LVM management.
- Upgrade of RHEL OS from 7.x to 8.x
- Troubleshooting of upgrade issues and roll back if required
SKILLS
- Experience with handling L2/L3 level support large environments containing more than 1000 servers
- Sound knowledge of RHEL 5/6/7 Oracle Linux.
- Good knowledge in Shell Scripting and ansible.
- Good handle on repository management and Linux system patching using tools like Satellite or SMART
- knowledge in any one form of cloud technology will be additional helpful.
- Sound knowledge of Security aspects from Linux OS perspective to deliver/implement security policies as per organization guidelines.
- Able to handle most of basic to advanced calls in User group management system startup service modification crontab entries ACL modifications file system management root backups.
- Experience in Server Management Monitoring tools like Nagios kibana etc.
