The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for a reliable Facilities Technician to help maintain our 17building complex and support over 900 employees. The facilities team often works closely with Engineers to support varied program needs. The selected candidate will gain work experience in a variety of trades including electrical plumbing HVAC woodworking painting and carpentry.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- Valid drivers license
- Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to effectively utilize email and spreadsheets
- Willingness to perform facilities support outside of core business hours as required
- Working knowledge of trades
- Willing to travel as needed
- Preventative Maintenance Experience
- Ability to carry push pull drag or hold up to 40 pounds
- Ability to spend substantial time walking standing pulling and reaching
- $33500$52500
- Salary commensurate based on education and experience
