Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Host/Hostess and be the first point of contact for our valued guests. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience by managing seating taking reservations processing payments and ensuring a clean and organized environment. This position requires excellent communication skills a friendly demeanor and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness standards for the host/hostess station and dining areas.
- Answer incoming calls and manage reservations efficiently.
- Process guest payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Promote a fun friendly and safe environment embodying our Big Six values.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of serving experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a food handlers card.
- Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Ability to obtain a stateissued alcoholic beverage license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods bend kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
